I choose Selleys No More Gaps Tube 320G because it looks handy, easy to apply and store. Although Ezi Press version looks more sleeky, but the 170G volume might not fix much around the house. As for other No More Gaps, which are the cartridge type, I have to get a caulking gun in order to use them.

Product shelf life? It was not mentioned, but generally “silicone sealants” are shorter than a year. For No More Gaps, I would presumed a 12-24 months under an “optimal” storage condition.

Socks or Hotel Slippers?
Personal experience, walking around the house with socks or “hotel slippers” are equally risky.

Warning - Do Not Try This At Home
I fell many times during the shoots, and each fall was unpredictably painful. So, do not attempt to try this at home!

In this video, you might have noticed that there were 2 test subjects involved, which are the porcelain tiles and timber flooring. The latter (timber flooring” was used throughout the entire experiment as it has a higher level of slipperiness.

I have tried both the floor rugs and “anti-slip” socks on the porcelain tiles as well, and they were certainly safe to use.

Selleys No More Gaps’ property such as higher flexibility and the multiple lines or spots during application were believed to be the key factors in improving the resistance. That being said, other products which have displayed similar characteristics can be used as well. Remember, it is always good to be cautious!
