Installation & Selection
To get the right pump for the job, following criteria should be determined:
• Required amount of water.
• Suction Head - The vertical distance from the water level to the center line of the pump.
• Discharge Head - The vertical distance from the centerline of the pump to the final discharge outlet.
• Friction Loss - Resistance and loss of pressure due to the flow of water passing through the pipes and fittings with the pump system.
• Total Dynamic Head - Suction Head + Discharge Head + Friction Loss.
