Description
• OtterGel is solvent based wood stain in gel form using wiping method to apply on all interior wood products.
• It will enriches the natural grain and enhance the beauty of a wide range of wood.

Coverage 
• 80 to 120 sq.ft / quart per coat

Tools / Clean up
• Lint free cloth or sponge.
• Clean up with turpentine.

Preparation & Application
• Getting Started: Prepare the necessary tools. Clean the wood thoroughly, make sure it is free of wax or other contaminats.
• Fill cracks and holes: Fill cracks or holes with OTTER Wood Filler of similar or nearest colour to the wood. Let dry and sand lightly to get an even surface. Clean away sanding rust.
• Apply Gel Stain: Wipe on Ottergel Stain in circular motion with a sponge or lint-free cloth. Spread as far as possible to fill ip the wood pores evenly, always in the direction of the wood grain.
• Remove Excess: Wipe off excess immediately with a dry cloth. Wipe in the direction of the wood grain to obtain a smooth and evenly distributed finish. Leave to dry for about half an hour.
• Apply sanding sealer: Brush on 1 coat of WOOD-KARE Crystal Clear Sanding Sealer. Leave dry and sand lightly with 280-320 grit sandpaper.
• Apply Top Coat: For interior use, brush or spray on 2-3 coats of WOOD-KARE Crystal Clear Top Coat. Leave dry and sand lightly between coats with 280-320 grit sandpaper. Finish available: Gloss, Satin & Matt. 
Note: You may add a small amount of Ottergel Stain into sanding sealer or top coat to touch up the uneven wood color tone.

Result 
• It does not raise the grain of the wood. 
• Leave no wiping or lap marks. 
• No stirring - color very consistency from top to bottom.
