Recommendations
• Do not use FastCement 555 in extremely cold or hot weather: Avoid using the cement in temperatures below 5°C (41°F) or above 30°C (86°F), as extreme temperatures can affect its curing time and strength development.
• Do not mix FastCement 555 with excessive water: Adding too much water can weaken the mixture and reduce its strength. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for the correct water-to-cement ratio.
• Do not apply FastCement 555 on damp or wet surfaces: Surfaces should be dry before applying Mapei Fast Cement. If applied on a wet surface, it may not bond correctly, leading to poor performance and failure.
• Do not allow FastCement 555 to be exposed to water before fully curing: Mapei Fast Cement should not be exposed to water or moisture until it has fully set and cured. Premature exposure to water can compromise the strength.
• Do not use FastCement 555 on surfaces with poor adhesion: Ensure that the surface you are applying the cement to is clean, free of dust, and properly prepared for adhesion. Poor adhesion can lead to bonding issues.
• Do not use FastCement 555 for structural repairs without proper evaluation: Mapei Fast Cement 555 is designed for non-structural repairs. For critical structural work, consult with a professional to ensure that the right product is used.
• Do not overwork FastCement 555 the mixture: Once mixed, the product should be used promptly. Overworking the mixture can result in a loss of strength or a dry, hard surface that won’t adhere properly.
• Do not store FastCement 555 in high-humidity or wet conditions: Store the cement in a cool, dry place, and avoid exposure to moisture, as it may cause the cement to set prematurely or degrade.
