ASG Cornice Compound 20KG

Description 

Is a plaster-based mixture designed for fixing and bonding cornice to plasterboard, walls and ceilings. However, owing to its high bonding strength it can also be used to directly to concrete walls. 

Packaging: 20kg/bag 

Setting Time: 45 minutes (adjustable with customer required) 

Mixing 

• Fill container with clean water.. 
• Add in the Cornice Compound slowly in the water. (Approx. 5kg of powder to 3 litres of water). 
• Allow to soak for 1 to 3 minutes before mixing.. 
• Mix to a smooth creamy workable consistency.. 
• The mixture is now ready for use.. 
• Do not over mix otherwise it will accelerate setting of the mixture.. 

Direction to Use 

• Apply the mixture approximately 10mm wide; along the length of both back edge of the cornice.. 
• Carefully align the cornice and press firmy into position until partially set.. 
• Remove excess mixture from the edges using a knife.. 
• Clean off any residue with damp sponge or brush.. 
• If required, fix temporary supporting nails to hold cornice in position.. 

Storage 

• Store Cornice Compound at room temperature in a cool dry location.. 
• Allow free flow of air; stack on pallet.. 
• Keep away from direct exposure to sunlight..
